Quad has just launched its Elite Series, a new range of superb audio components designed to replace the award-winning 99 Series, which first appeared 12 years ago. Like their older brothers, QUAD Elite Series components are compact in size and designed for performance, simplicity, and versatility.

The Elite models replace the 99 Series electronics product-for-product. And although the appearance of the new models is similar to the old, their build is even beefier, and the latest high-tolerance components are used throughout in a meticulous redesign of the chassis. The results of course are absolutely spectacular.

Not only do these units deliver incredible sound, they don't require an engineering degree to set up. Everything plugs into each other via a balanced output through a Quad Link ribbon wire, so you'll be listening in minutes. And if you have other components, they can be connected through universal phono-socket connectors for optimal component matching.

And to make life even easier, an integrated remote controls all features of each unit, tracking both channels with .1db accuracy. All inputs, including those for moving-coil and moving-magnet cartridges, have adjustable sensitivity so you can switch from one source to another and always get the same sound level (no more waking up the neighbors when you switch from vinyl to CD).

BTW... the CD-P version of QUAD's new CD player also has 6 digital inputs for connecting other digital devices like DAB or satellite boxes.
